Intro.. New Series

Hi there!

Why don’t you grab another cup of joe… I did, and I went for the gusto…


Let’s talk shall we.  {Ok I’ll talk write as you read}.

We are getting closer to THEWEDDING DAY” and there are a few things that need to addressed. And how we do that is by breaking it up into a series. Why?  Because series can be fun and it’s easier to “blog out” that way.. (for all of you new bloggers it’s true and you’re welcome).

This series is called Pre-Wed and these are the topics you can look forward to…

  2. Planning
  3. Saving Money
  4. A balancing act
  5. Now What?


Things have been pretty nutty around here and I am doing my best to adjust.  What better way to figure things out than to write about them?  Let me mention that when I say ‘nutty’ I mean LOTS OF CHANGE… normally I’m pretty good with change.  I enjoy it.  I embrace it.  But WHEN EVERYTHING takes on change it can be a little rocky.  Especially when traveling on uncharted waters.  So kick back and come back :) as we look at my life and all the changes I’m doing.

They say in Cross fit that this is your comfort zone…

And this is where they want you….

Well folks, I achieved that without crossfit.  It’s called Bodyflow.  It is a combination of Yoga and pilates.  I have never taken yoga.  I have always been quite skeptical to be honest, but I did it. And the funny thing is I did it with the Fiance :) .

If you could imagine ‘graceful’ me on one leg with my opposite leg behind me and my arms out like I’m performing an Olympic swam dive.. yea your welcome for that laugh!  And laugh I did… The whole time.  It was great!  I never thought trying to get into a “breathing in” as you touch your toes and “exhale” as you go to do downward dog and then to warrior 2.  CRAZY I tell you!  The thing is it was tough!  I felt good but not in the usual “yea I’m gonna hurt tomorrow” pain.  I plan on going back Tuesday and Thursday next week.

Something else that is great… I’m down 4lbs! WOOT WOOT!  This week I’ll be at the gym each day.  Right now the forecast is… Monday lift; Tuesday Bodyflow; Wednesday Zumba; Thursday body flow and Friday is as surprise (because I’m not sure yet!).

It is for certain that getting outta ya box can be uncomfortable.  Lately that is all I’ve been doing, is things that are out of my comfort zone, but it’s there that I’m finding the most rewards.

1. 115 days until the wedding. (the knot says so)

2. Down 3 pounds.

3. My new office space is now de-cluttered and I can breath.

4. Officially getting plugged into the PA area for my biz and that folks is oh so exciting!

5. Working on this pretty little site.

6. My sister and her fam came to visit for the weekend and this lil guy got worn out!


7. Have I mentioned how much I love this guy?

8.  And I just connected with two lovely ladies for the ornament swap ( &

Yup that about sums up this week so far.  I’ve been at my computer since 7:30am and maybe will be here another 5 hours. Have a great night folks :)

Gym time #sweatinforthedress

No I’m not preggo… that is not a baby bump. That is my body saying “screw you” this is how you look with an extra 10 lbs (could be more but I refuse to get on the scale till morning).

Side note: I did eat my weight in deliciousness this night… AND my fiance is incredibly handsome :) Eat your heart out ladies! Ha!

128 days

That is all I have left to get this booty in shape! Let’s push pause shall we… What the heck Thank you for the realization that we ONLY have 128 days let... And we resume… Tonight it begins! Heading it out to join a gym! Then to get busy tracking food, upping water, all that jazz again.

Let’s talk shall we? Or actually you sit there and read. Why is it so stinking hard to lose the weight when it is so easy to gain it? Furthermore, why is it when you get happy in a relationship you put on the poundage?

There is food for thought for the night… now wish me luck while I go sweat at the gym.
